On March 28, 2025, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 was experienced in Mandalay and Sagaing, which were the most severely affected areas. MDPSEA provided financial aid amounting to 9,175,000 kyats to 34 members who suffered the greatest impact from the earthquake.
A total of 400,000 kyats allocated from the association's relief fund was generously donated by 27 members, amounting to 4,600,000 kyats. The donations included essential supplies needed for flood recovery, such as 1,000 packs of salt, 100 cans of oil (priced at 25 kyats each), along with other necessary items to support the affected communities.
